A taxi crashed into a Japanese restaurant on the Upper East Side on Friday afternoon, sending the driver and a pedestrian to the hospital and leaving two others with minor injuries, officials said.

The vehicle jumped the sidewalk on East 81st Street near Second Avenue in Manhattan around 4:45 p.m. and crashed into the entryway of the Amura eatery, according to the NYPD, the FDNY and video posted to the Citizen app. 

The driver suffered a broken leg, and three other people were injured, the agencies said.

For the seventh year in a row, Chick-fil-A has earned the top accolades in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) in the limited-service —  a.k.a. fast food — sector.

BRUSSELS, July 6 (Reuters) – The European Union urged London on Tuesday to consider a Swiss-style veterinary agreement with Brussels on agri-foods to end a post-Brexit ‘sausage war’ row over certain goods moving between Britain and its province of Northern Ireland.
