Hyderabad cop offers food to homeless children from his lunchbox. Internet hearts viral video

A traffic police constable from Hyderabad garnered a huge round of applause from the internet after he offered food to homeless children from his lunchbox. One short video of his kind act has been made available online by the official account of the Telangana State Police on Twitter.

The incident occurred in Hyderabad’s Panjagutta area while Constable Mahesh was on duty. The two little children were begging for food on the street and as soon as Mahesh noticed, he took out his lunchbox and served food to them.

To begin with, Mahesh gave the children two paper plates and served rice, curry and chicken fry from his lunch box on the plates for the children. Delighted, Mahesh requested the children to eat, who enjoyed a hearty meal.

“#ActOfKindness Panjagutta Traffic Police Constable Mr. Mahesh while performing patrolling duty @Somajiguda noticed two children requesting others for food at the road side, immediately he took out his lunch box and served food to the hungry children,” Telangana State Police said in the caption of the post.

The video has gone viral with over one lakh views so far and also collected thousands of likes and retweets. In the comments section of the post, social media users praised the cop for his kind deed.
