SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, Va. – A local favorite at Smith Mountain Lake is doubling down on its efforts to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

The Landing Restaurant announced in a Facebook post that it will be requiring proof of vaccination for COVID-19 at all of its locations for all guests over the age of 12, effective immediately.

Customers will need to bring a physical COVID-19 record, VDH record or a photo of their vaccination card.

While children under the age of 12 will not be required to show proof of vaccination, masks will be required when not eating.

LONDON — European stocks closed slightly higher on Thursday, as lingering concerns over global Covid-19 cases overshadowed gains on Wall Street after the latest U.S. inflation reading.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville restaurants Feed and Folly, The Farmer’s Table Cafe, and Theo’s have decided to shut down for the next few days due to rising cases of COVID-19.

According to a post made on the restaurant’s Facebook page July 30, Feed and Folly will reopen August 4.

The post says even thought most of the staff is vaccinated, it was decided it was best to clean the restaurant and have staff retested for the virus.
