Treasure Coast Culinary Tours in Fort Pierce, Vero Beach help local businesses

Shelly Metz was gearing up for her family’s upcoming vacation to Fort Pierce, researching touristy activities when she came across Treasure Coast Culinary Tours.

Why not, Metz thought, the family loves to try local cuisine, and it’s a great way to get to know the area as first-time visitors.

The Metz family, of Columbus, Ohio, bopped around Downtown Fort Pierce on June 9 — chowing down on crepes, seafood gumbo, blackened shrimp tacos, wagyu beef and crab bisque.

DOT’s 2021 ‘Kain na!’ with developed culinary tours, food trips unveiled

MANILA, Philippines —This year’s “KAIN NA! Food and Travel Festival” was made special by the tour developed by members of the Philippine Tour Operators Association Inc. (PHILTOA) and the food tourism consortium, according to Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

The food and travel festival is once again a hybrid edition in partnership with Ayala Malls.

With the theme “Food Tourism Reboot,” Kain na! which began last June 10 served a signature line-up of digital events such as the Global PROSPECTives in Food and Gastronomy Tourism, Food Tourism Exchange, and Food Tourism 101 which would be held until June 13.

Scarlet Bee to move, new wine tours, a Table update

ASHEVILLE – While brewery tours abound, there hasn’t been much in the way of wine tours in Asheville. Now, two local women have decided to change that.

Kelly Denson of All American Food Fights and Kasey Hotchkiss of Asheville Detours have launched Blue Ridge Wine Tours, which explores the growing world of Western North Carolina wine.
